BUFFALO CHIP COOKIES
- 2 c. melted margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. Quaker oats
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. pecans, fine-cut
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 2 c. corn flakes
- Mix margarine and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Stir in corn flakes and oats. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and add to mixture. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded soup spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, keeping centers about 4 inches apart (only 6-8 cookies per sheet). Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Yield: About 50 large cookies, depending upon size. Recipe can be halved.
