CREAM OF ONION SOUP
 
Ingredients
  • ½ c. butter
  • 6 Spanish onions
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 qt. milk
  • ⅓ c. grated cheese
  • Croutons
Instructions
  1. Place butter in frying pan and add the peeled and thinly sliced onions. Cook to a golden brown. Add milk, salt and flour to onions and cook gently for 5 minutes longer. Sprinkle with cheese and croutons. Serve.
