EGG FONDUE

EGG FONDUE
Serves: Serves 8-10
 
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. mild sausage; sauted
  • 5 slices bread, ¼ inch cubed
  • 5 oz. American or Cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. dry mustard
  • parsley (optional sprinkle)
Instructions
  1. Layer sausage, bread, and cheese in that order into greased 3 quart oblong casserole. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, milk, salt, and mustard. Pour mixture over layers. Bake at 350 degrees until puffed and golden, about 30 minutes.
  2. Can be made ahead. Refrigerate night before and baked before serving.
