JOAN’S SWEDISH COOKIES

JOAN'S SWEDISH COOKIES
 
Ingredients
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. Spry (Crisco)
  • 3 c. flour (before sifted)
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
  1. Cream shortening and sugar. Sift in flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add coconut and vanilla; mix well. Roll into small balls and dip top in white sugar. Flatten with a fork. Bake in 300 degree oven for 12-14 minutes.
