MOM'S ICE BOX COOKIES
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1-1/2 c. melted shortening
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. nutmeats
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Mix in order given. Form into 3 rolls. Chill in refrigerator. Slice and bake at 350 degrees.
