NORWEGIAN “KAFFEKAKE”

NORWEGIAN "KAFFEKAKE"
 
Ingredients
  • 1-1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2-1/4 c. flour
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • ¾ c. milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp. almond flavoring
Instructions
  1. Mix the brown sugar, baking powder, flour, and cinnamon and work in ¾ cup butter. Take out ¾ cup to use on top. To remainder add the eggs, milk, salt, and almond. Put in 8x8 inch buttered pan. Sprinkle on topping. Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
