RICE PILAF

RICE PILAF
 
Ingredients
  • ½ stick oleo
  • 2 pkgs. (1 complete box) Lipton's Dry Noodle Soup with Real Chicken Broth
  • 2 lumps of fat
  • Seasonings from the soup mix
  • 2½ cups water
  • 1 cup rice
Instructions
  1. Put ½ stick oleo in heavy pan or skillet. Add vermicelli from 2 packages Lipton's (1 complete box) Dry Noodle Soup, and brown well. Put the 2 lumps of fat and the seasonings from the soup mix into water and bring to a boil. Add rice to the butter and vermicelli and pour the boiling water over all. Put on tight cover and reduce heat and cook 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Makes 8 servings.)
